About Us

About Us

Hello! I am Miss Finlayson and I am the Year 4/5 class teacher. We also have Miss Moore who comes to help us with our learning and support us with our work.

In the mornings we do handwriting, spellings, English, math and guided reading. In the afternoons we have our foundation subjects. Each half-term we base our learning around a different narrative, we like to immerse ourselves into the narratives through a variety of drama strategies in our lessons.

In Year 4/5 we also look at developing a positive attitude to learning and resilience. We foster a love for learning and challenging ourselves in lessons and believe we should always be kind and respect each other.
